July 3rd 2023: Its that time of year that the worlds longest biggest Fourth Of July Parade west of the Mississippi returns tomorrow to Huntington Beach. The 119th addition of the annual parade starts at 10 am on its 2.5 mile route along Pacific Coast Highway by the Huntington Beach Pier on to Main Street.

The parade as always will feature bands, local businesses, classic cars the Huntington Beach High School Cheerleaders as well as the Huntington Beach Mayor. I joked about it being the longest because as things get stretched out later on the route it can mean gaps before the next part of the parade gets to you.

Tips: Its a fun event but i would get there early as parking is going to be at a premium, if possible better to take the bus or ride share in. You will be doing a lot of walking then standing in the hot sun so bring plenty of water also don’t forget to wear the sunscreen or you might regret it later.
